PPF’s (Paint Protection Film) primary purpose is to protect your car’s stock paint, while a Color Change Wrap will completely change your car into a different color.  PPF is usually either gloss  (doesn’t change the look of your car at all) or satin (goes over your paint to give a more matte finish).  A color change wrap will give a small degree of protection to your paint, but PPF is a much thicker material and will give far more protection from scratches, chemicals and wear and tear.
